Why Sharpening Men?
Iron sharpens iron.
The name comes from Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
Metal is not strengthened by leaving it alone. It is heated, hammered, shaped, sharpened, and tempered. Men need other men too—not to put on a show for one another, but to challenge, encourage, strengthen, and stand beside one another.

What Sharpening Men isn’t
Sharpening Men isn’t a church. It isn’t a group for men who have everything together. It isn’t a place where you’re expected to pretend. It IS a table where men can eat, talk, listen, learn, ask questions, build friendships, and discover what it means to become the men God created us to be.
